THE SERIES:
KAIDAN: HAZAMA NO SEKAI tells the story of a happy couple, Isobel and Nikolaus. They live together for three years now. But two new neighbors, Hevn and Miley, move in their building and they are acting really strange. As the situation wasn’t crazy enough, Maykel and Greg are also back, but Greg mysteriously forgot some parts of his own past.
THE FOUNDATION STONE OF A MULTIVERSE:
Although KAIDAN: HAZAMA NO SEKAI is an independent series that you can watch even if you don’t know NOTHING NEW, the two series have something in common. At first, you could think KAIDAN: HAZAMA NO SEKAI is a spin-off or a sequel, but you’ll quickly understand that there is a third possibility: another timeline.
Eager to create a concept of interconnected series, Syred Pictures launches here its multiverse and explores some events that the audience already knows but from another point of view.
AN EXPLANATION FOR THE JAPANESE TITLE:
KAIDAN (かいだん) means “supernatural story” in Japanese. This title is the name of the timeline in which this story takes place and covers any future project in this universe. The reason why the title is in Japanese is still not revealed but is part of a bigger project.
The subtitle, HAZAMA NO SEKAI (はざまのせかい), means “The world between worlds” and refers, in this series, of the place of the Human world.
